A fine hotel with a splendid location providing great views. Bar and restaurant were quite chic, with room service and all the concierge attention one would expect at this price level.
While the rooms' decor and views were impeccable, they seemed slightly on the small side. For St. Etienne the hotel is beyond excellent, but guests more used to luxury hotels in major cities will still perceive some minor points like that which show its difference. Still, worth the price, and if you are travelling to St. Etienne, you can't do better.

Loved the centrally located hotel, so many activities nearby! The bar is a beautiful mix of minerals and furniture. The restaurant's pink leather and black glass combo is audacious and welcoming. The rooms are decorated in four different styles, so unique!
I absolutely adored the dimly lit rooms with minimal breakfast options. So disappointing.

The hotel was very old and dirty...needs renovation and was too pricey for the poor quality. I would not recommend it!
the staff could not recommend a resataurant as she said she was not from the area???

Brilliant third floor room, overlooking the golf course, air-conditioned, modern and very attractive styling. Most interesting ceiling! Ate at the restaurant - superb food, and completely full.

There was no mini bar/ fridge in room. There was no tea/coffee making facilities No wall mounted shower, only bath with shower attachment hanging Very few staff who were too busy socialising and being loud to tend to their guests. We had to lay our own tables at breakfast as not enough tables were laud out fir the amount of guests staying. When we asked them for some water at breakfast they begrudgingly went to fetch it making it very obvious we were disturbing them, then slammed the jug on our table without saying a word. There was no management and staff were running havoc in the hotel. Very overpriced-it states it's a 4* but this hotel is 3*

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of St-Etienne, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The serene view of the local golf course is breathtaking. The rooms are clean, with comfortable bedding, and there is the option to have an iron and ironing board available from reception.
The staff's disorganization is a significant downside, adding to the difficulty in getting one's breakfast or having urgent requests fulfilled.

Newly remodelled and good-sized rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds and wake-up service. Costs £ 71. Lovely location up on a hill.

The food in the restaurant at Hotel Du Golf was absolutely amazing! I had the pleasure of experiencing a culinary journey, with a chef who took the time to come out and explain each dish. It was evident that he genuinely cared about his craft. The staff were also lovely and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Although my room was not luxurious, it was clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel for those seeking a memorable dining experience.
